About 7,000 of us live in Belfast, Maine, which is in Midcoast, about 45 minutes from Bangor. The town once hosted a railroad, chicken and sardine processing operations, and most recently, a potato chip factory (really). Today the working waterfront keeps working, and it's a gift. Expect old brick buildings, beautiful sunsets, a lively cultural life, and welcoming folks.
